Answers
1. Billing Questions

1.1. What company name will appear on my bill?

Your credit card will be discreetly billed by "CCBill - 4 Star" or "4 Star Productions".

1.2. What is a Member or Subscription ID?

A Member or Subscription ID is a unique identifying number that corresponds to the membership/subscription that you have purchased. You will receive your Member/Subscription ID immediately after the purchase of a membership/subscription via the e-mail address that you provided on the payment page. You should always maintain a record of your Member/Subscription ID and should use this number in any correspondence with a Billing Support Representative. With this number a Billing Support Representative can view your membership/subscription history, the time it was purchased, the charges made, as well as the payment information used for the purchase.

1.3. How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership at any time by going to our main network contact page. Everything you need to know is there.

1.4. How do I know my membership was cancelled?

You will receive a confirmation email to the email address on your account at the time of cancellation.

Upon cancellation, there will be no further charges to your account.

Your membership will expire 30 days from your last bill date.

Upon expiration, your membership will revert to free status and you can upgrade at any time.

1.5. I cancelled but you are still billing me.

Please send us an email from the same account you used to sign-up your account and include your username, full first and last name, and last six digits of the credit card number.

2. Technical Issues

2.1. I am using Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8 and I'm having problems.

The biggest problem with IE 8 is viewing Flash files if you're running it in 64 bit mode. Fixing this is easy, though. If you are using 64 bit, you'll want to stop using it and open up the 32 bit version instead. Go to Start > Computer > Local Disk that windows is installed on (usually C Drive) > Program Files (x86) > Internet Explorer > and find iexplore.exe. You can right click on that file and choose "send to desktop" to use this version from now on. Once it's on your desktop, simply click it to open like you normally would.

2.2. Is my connection speed good enough?

Our sites are hosted on a tier 1 provider on a 1000 Mbps connection and no throttle. Basically, that means we can run as fast as you can handle it.

However, on the path from our servers to your computer, the internet makes a dozen or more "hops". The speed you download or view our site from will only be as fast as the slowest hop. Other factors, like your computer and even the weather may factor in your connection speed from our servers.

To see your current internet connection speed, click here. Keep in mind that our servers are located in Atlanta, GA. Use that location for your speed test.

2.3. Video Plug-ins

Windows Media Player- Is a technology that produces streaming video and audio files. The WM player will play most types of movies including its native Advanced Streaming Format (ASF), WAV, AVI, Quicktime and RealOne formats. A good all-around choice.

Quicktime- An audio/video technology developed by Apple, but can also play on any PC. Its versatility and quality of playback are outstanding and its ability to compress large movies into small files is remarkable. You don't need the professional version to watch video, just download the free one.

2.4. Do you have adware on your sites?

Adware can hijack your internet browser and may prevent you from accessing our websites properly.

Our sites do not use any adware or any other software that may harm your computer.

2.5. Do I need to have any certain settings on my browser?

Our sites are designed with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome users in mind.

Please make sure you have cookies and javascript turned on.

2.6. What about firewall settings?

Please verify that your Personal Firewall settings are correct: Firewalls, such as Norton Internet Security, are generally good things to have, but they sometimes interfere with our site. If you are behind a firewall contact your network administrator to see if you can have direct access to the internet from your computer. If you have a personal firewall, disable it while you are visiting our website, and turn it back on when you leave.

2.7. What about pop up blockers?

Please make sure that your Pop Up Blocker settings are correct: For the best possible experience while visiting our sites, please disable your Pop Up Blockers.
